Assess source, condition and suitability before processing. Identify how the input is classified and which records support any recycled-content requirement. Sorting and acceptance decisions are part of the material’s traceable history.
Processing and test checkpoints
Document the agreed processing route and measure the properties required by the specification. Composition, fill power and cleanliness answer different questions; a good result in one does not replace the others.
Release and change control
Agree a lot-release record, packing identity and reference sample. If the specification, source or processing arrangement changes, review whether additional sampling or testing is required before supply. Exact inspection frequencies and tolerances need project-specific confirmation.
