Keep existing material in use
Recovering filling creates an opportunity to use it in another product life. Material suitability still requires sorting, processing and testing; reuse does not remove the need for quality controls.
Do not turn a process into an unsupported percentage
No carbon reduction, water saving or lifecycle impact percentage is published. A defensible comparison would need a defined method, system boundary and verified data for the relevant supply chain.
Review claims at the product level
Recycled origin, chemical safety and animal-welfare certification are distinct matters. Match each public claim to the supplied product’s evidence and permitted scope. Avoid absolute descriptions such as 100% sustainable or zero impact.
