Define the evidence you need
A brand policy may require post-consumer input, a certified recycled claim or specific transaction records. Write the requirement into the brief so evidence can be assessed before the order is approved.
Keep entity and lot references consistent
Compare supplier names, processing sites, product descriptions and lot numbers across documents. Request clarification when a parent-company document and the actual supplying entity differ. Records must explain the relationship rather than assume it.
Share documents with appropriate boundaries
Certificates and redacted test reports can support buyer review when disclosure is approved. Public copies are not yet available here. No invented traceability portal, report number or real-time batch lookup is presented.
