Coverage must match the material
The company reports use of OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Annex 4 within its certification systems. Current certificate documents, applicable product class and covered material scope must be confirmed before a product-level claim is approved.
Questions for a certificate review
- Does the certificate identify the supplying legal entity?
- Does its scope cover the material being purchased?
- Is it current, and can its validity be checked?
- Is the intended application compatible with the stated product class?
An additional requirement, not a replacement
Continue to specify composition, loft, cleanliness and recycled traceability separately. Agree which documents accompany the sample and production shipment. No public certificate number is shown until verified documents and disclosure permission are supplied.
